Everyone should be able to access and benefit from City recreational and cultural sites, services and resources in a safe, enjoyable and respectful manner.
Please read the Community Recreation and Culture Branch’s Recreation Safety Guidelines as well as the Respect for People & Property Guidelines to better understand expectations around safety and the role we all play to ensure our spaces are welcome to everyone. In the event these guidelines are not followed, you may have measures put in place that will limit or ban your interactions with employees and/or access to sites and services.

Something strange is going on at the zoo. Each day presents a new mystery and it's up to us, the zoo’s detectives, to solve it! Our investigations will lead us to uncover secrets and bust common myths about our zoo animals. During the week we will learn about our animal’s diets, habitats, and maybe even their poop as we search for clues and analyze evidence to solve a number of animal mythsteries. Explore all over the zoo, go behind the scenes, look at animals, touch some artifacts, and 'Get Closer' in search of the truth!
