Please read the Community Recreation and Culture Branch’s Recreation Safety Guidelines as well as the Respect for People & Property Guidelines to better understand expectations around safety and the role we all play to ensure our spaces are welcome to everyone. In the event these guidelines are not followed, you may have measures put in place that will limit or ban your interactions with employees and/or access to sites and services.

The Swim and Lifesaving Instructor Recertification course evaluates Instructor level 1 leadership competencies, facilitates networking and provides instructors with updates from the Lifesaving Society. This course will recertify Swim For Life, Lifesaving Instructor, and CPR Instructor teaching awards. The award is current for 2 years. Prerequisites: Prior successful completion of the Swim For Life & Lifesaving Instructor course. A bathing suit is required.
