Adventure at the Fort (Ages 6-9)


Discover life in the fur trade through animal tracking, Indigenous games, and traditional art. Includes visits to the Indigenous Peoples Experience and John Janzen Nature Centre.

Edmonton Explorer (Ages 8-11)


Travel through Edmonton’s history! Discover Indigenous culture, race with voyageurs, play 1885 games, learn 1920s dances, and enjoy the lights and sounds of the Midway.

History Whodunit! (Ages 7-10)


Become a History Hero and stop an evil time-bandit! Interview historic characters, discover clues, crack codes, and use detective tools to solve the mystery.

Mrs. Egge's Kitchen Kids Camp


Aspiring bakers learn home cooking secrets on a wood-burning stove. Bake historic treats and sweets, play farm games, and explore life on a 19th-century farm.

Our Land, Our Stories (Ages 8-11)


Discover the history and culture of the Edmonton River Valley. Explore the Indigenous Peoples Experience, nature trails, traditional teachings, and authentic land-based games and crafts.

Pursuit of Play (Ages 6-9)


Unplug with games and fun from the past! Enjoy scavenger hunts, baseball on 1920s street, picnics, and a highlight visit to the Johnny J Jones Midway.

Summertime Christmas (Ages 6-9)


Celebrate Christmas in summer! Experience seasonal traditions, bake festive treats like gingerbread, design stockings, build old-fashioned toys, and go caroling around the historic streets.

Voyageur Adventure (Ages 10-12)


Explore the 1846 Fort and learn fur trade skills like fire-building and travois construction. Includes a nature trip to the John Janzen Nature Centre.
