Everyone should be able to access and benefit from City recreational and cultural sites, services and resources in a safe, enjoyable and respectful manner.
Please read the Community Recreation and Culture Branch’s Recreation Safety Guidelines as well as the Respect for People & Property Guidelines to better understand expectations around safety and the role we all play to ensure our spaces are welcome to everyone. In the event these guidelines are not followed, you may have measures put in place that will limit or ban your interactions with employees and/or access to sites and services.

Designed for young swimmers (ages 8-12), Aquatic Camps balance fun, connection and learning in a safe, instructor-led environment. Each day includes a structured swimming lesson to develop skills/knowledge and build confidence in and around the water. Camps also include crafts, activities, and free play during a public swim.
Half Day Camps are three (3) hours in length and include water safety instruction, a craft, a swimming lesson, and free play during public swim. Campers will take home a Swim to Survive Certificate & a craft.
Full Day Camps are seven (7) hours in length and include water safety instruction, a craft, a swimming lesson, pool tour, water safety activities and free play during public swim. Take home a Swim to Survive Certificate & a craft. Campers are required to bring their own school-safe lunch and snacks.
