Lifesaving Society Swim For Life & Lifesaving Instructor Course

The Swim and Lifesaving Instructor course is a pre-employment course that prepares the candidate to be responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the Swim for Life, Canadian Swim Patrol and Bronze Medals Program. Award is current for 2 years. This course requires 100% attendance. Prerequisites: Age 15, and hold one of the following awards; Bronze Cross or National Lifeguard. Must also provide proof of successful completion of the City of Edmonton’s Skills and Strokes evaluation. A bathing suit is required.
