Winter Recreation is an outdoor drop-in program that takes place at City of Edmonton's River Valley parks and skating ovals!

These free, family-oriented programs focus on getting people outside and enjoying the outdoors. Come join us after a skate or come check out the activity of the month. Located at Victoria, Rundle, Hawrelak Park, Jackie Parker and Castle Downs!

Program will run on Fridays (6-9pm), Saturdays and Sundays (2-8pm).

All leaders:

• Have completed a security clearance
• Are trained in first aid
• Are certified specialists in fun!
• Leaders are facilitators providing fun activities and ensuring safety for everyone. Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children at all times and must be available in the event of an emergency.

Programming will still be available on rainy and snowy days but may be cancelled during severe weather.

No fee required to participate. Children 5 years and under must be actively supervised by a responsible person aged 13+. For more information about the program, visit Winter Recreation.
