Dear Program/Course Registrant,

Recognizing that COVID-19 represents an unpredictable and unique scenario that requires all Albertans to take measures to prevent the spread of the virus, the City has made the decision to close all Community and Recreation Facilities and Attractions effective March 14, 2020. This closure will be in place until further notice.

Program and Course Cancellations

As previously communicated, we have cancelled all our registered programs effective March 14, 2020, for the remainder of the Winter Program Season, through April 4, 2020. We are in the process of completing these cancelations.

  • If on March 14, 2020, your program was ongoing, you will be provided with a prorated refund for the number of sessions not completed.

  • If your program was to start after March 14, 2020, you will be provided a full refund. As we work through the large volume of cancellations, we will be placing your credits on your account.

  • If you would prefer to receive a cheque refund you can make this request using this form. City of Edmonton Recreation Program Cheque Refund Request.

Aquatic Programs

For classes that have a "pass/fail" component with them (such as swimming lessons), progress cards will be mailed out in the coming weeks.

Leisure Access Program

Customers may apply to the Leisure Access and Ride Transit Program by mail during this time. For cancelled programs and courses, customers will receive their eligible discount to be used again at a later date.

Thank you for supporting the City of Edmonton Recreation Centres.
